Download and Install

Mochi runs on macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, and the web. You don't need an account to start using Mochi, it can be used completely offline.

Desktop App

Download the latest version for your platform from the downloads page.

macOS

  1. Download the DMG file from the downloads page.
  2. Open the DMG and drag the Mochi app to your Applications folder.

Windows

Download the latest version from the downloads page and run the installer.

Linux

  1. Download the AppImage.
  2. Install FUSE if needed.
    • Open your terminal and run sudo apt update && sudo apt install libfuse2
  3. Make the AppImage executable
    • Navigate to the directory where the AppImage was downloaded.
    • Right click on the AppImage and click "Properties"
    • Go to the Permissions tab and check the box for "Allow executing file as program"
  4. Run the AppImage
    • Double click the file, or right-click and select Run.

Tip

If nothing happens when you run the AppImage, try running it from the terminal to view any error messages. ./Mochi-<version>.AppImage

Web Version

You can also use Mochi in any modern browser:

Warning

Using the web version without a Pro subscription will store content in the browser's offline storage. Browsers can sometimes clear this data without warning.

Mobile App

The mobile apps are great companions to the desktop / web apps. They are excellent for reviewing or adding cards on the go.

iOS and iPad

You can download the Mochi app from the App Store.

Android

You can download the Mochi app from the Play Store or download the standalone APK from the Downloads page.
